In a press conference with 1824, Lauren shared that this 15 - track collection of stories was inspired by her impactful life events and traumatic experiences from failed relationships to friendship breakups, and the struggles of navigating new relationships.

This album shows the difficult journey of healing from the struggles of the past. The first few tracks like 'Fingers Crossed' and 'Narcissist' share the hurt and heartache of Lauren's past, but as you reach closer to the end you hear her process of trying to heal as she enters a new, happy and healthy relationship and this transition is so beautifully natural.
